Bushong Piano

This old schoolhouse is found in Bushong, Kansas. There's isn't much left of the auditorium but this old stage. The coolest thing about the place was the old piano left there. The keys are frozen in place, the ceiling has crumbled down upon it, the foot pedals are rusty and broken, the strings are now silent......... Honestly, the place was a little bit eerie, but very cool nonetheless.

LOL! I'm not sure if it's actually turquoise paint or if it's some sort of primer for the plaster or what. It was definitely turquoise though! Yi! The thing on the left is actually an interior wall that lost it's finish work. In the picture it looks almost like a louvered accordian door of some kind, but it's 2/4's on the vertical and 1/4's or something layed horizontally. Sort of like how the local grain elevators were built. It's a little room off the stage. It was empty..... I don't know what it was for.
