the Way.......

I've been avoiding going to bed because Rodd is in California on business and I HATE being home by myself. I've been sitting here reflecting on my life a bit and marveling at the many blessings and became somewhat overwhelmed. It's one of those moments where you find tears rolling down your face and you didn't even realize you were crying. You're not sad but you're overwhelmed with gratitude for all that you've been blessed with. That's where I am tonight. I'm overwhelmed by my blessings. God has blessed my life so richly and I don't deserve any of it. Thank God for grace....... Thank God we don't get what we deserve, but His endless grace instead. Who am I that He would sacrifice so much.........?

I really wanted to do this with a door, but that will come later. I haven't found just the right door yet. So, I settled for a window. :) Thanks Denise for sharing your field of flowers....

Grand Haven, Michigan Lighthouse

Oh my! Has it really been a month since I've posted anything here? I should be ashamed of myself!!!!

This is another work of HDR. At the east end of our infamous Amtrak trip we had the great joy of visiting with 2 wonderful friends....Darla and Rebecca. They took us out to Grand Haven for dinner and a sunset. We were blessed with a beautiful sunset and we arrived none too soon. We scurried across the beach and tried to get everything set up before the show was over. It was fading fast when I shot this. Darla was so gracious to lug my ridiculously huge camera bag so that I could run down the beach and set up. What a gem she is!!! We had a lovely evening with a beautiful sunset and great friends. Who could ask for more than that???? Thank you Darla and Rebecca for your love and generosity. We're SO looking forward to our trip to San Fran in December!!!! :)
